Most studios describe the vibe. Here is the literal set of things that lands in your hands on launch day.
- A designed, built, live website on your own domain, with DNS and HTTPS set up for you
- Every page written for you from an interview, not filled with placeholder text
- Content updates handled for you so nothing breaks and nobody learns a new tool
- Mobile, tablet, and desktop layouts tested on real devices, not just resized
- Analytics and conversion tracking connected and verified before launch
- Technical SEO groundwork: sitemap, schema, meta, and Search Console setup
- AI search readiness: structured data and entity setup so assistants can describe you
- A working contact or booking flow that emails you the moment someone fills it in
- An accessibility pass against WCAG 2.1 AA so nobody is locked out
- A recorded walkthrough of the finished site so your team knows what is where
We're new. That's your leverage.
Cindershift is a young studio, and we would rather earn a portfolio than pretend we already have one. So the first three clients get our full process at a reduced rate, in exchange for something we actually need from you.
The deal
- 30% off any package, applied to the fixed price
- Same process, same scope. Nothing is trimmed to hit the discount
- Six months of care plan included at no cost
What we ask back
- An honest testimonial once you've seen results
- Permission to publish the work as a case study
- Access to your analytics so we can report real numbers
Four steps. No mystery, no scope creep.
You always know what's happening, what's next, and what it costs. Most projects go live in under three weeks.
Fit call
Thirty minutes on your business, your customers, and what the site actually needs to do. You leave with a fixed quote.
Day 1Blueprint
Sitemap, page-by-page messaging, and a design direction. You approve the plan before anyone touches a pixel.
Days 2 to 5Design & build
We design in the browser so you see the real thing, on real devices, with two rounds of revisions baked in.
Days 6 to 16Launch & train
We handle DNS, analytics, and search setup, then walk your team through the finished site and how to request changes.
Days 17 to 21Small on purpose.
Cindershift is a small web design studio, and that is a deliberate choice rather than a stage we're trying to grow out of. You work directly with the person building your site. Nothing gets relayed through an account manager, and nothing gets quietly passed to a contractor in another time zone.
The trade-off is honest: we take on a handful of projects at a time, so we are sometimes booked out a few weeks. What you get in return is someone who has actually read your business, remembers the conversation from three weeks ago, and picks up the phone.
We don't do retainers that bill for nothing, and we don't pad scope to inflate an invoice. The price we quote is the price you pay.
Your time zone is not a problem.
Cindershift is remote-first by design, not by accident. We work with clients anywhere in the world, and the process was built that way from the start rather than bolted on after someone moved abroad.
In practice that means you get a live preview link you can open at 2am in Singapore, written updates you can read whenever you wake up, and calls scheduled in your working hours rather than ours. Nothing about a project depends on you being awake at the same time we are.
We are also comfortable building for audiences that are not English-speaking. Multilingual sites, local currency and payment methods, and per-country search setup are all things we do rather than things we outsource. The globe in the corner of this page is our own work, not a plugin.
-
Overlap hours, not office hoursWe hold a block of hours that overlaps your working day, from UTC-8 through UTC+8. Outside that, everything runs in writing.

What each covers: Copywriting is every page written from an interview, up to 8 pages with one revision round. Brand identity is a logo, color palette, type system, and a short usage guide. SEO and AI search setup is technical groundwork done during a build, not a standalone audit of an existing site. Booking is one scheduling tool embedded and configured, excluding its subscription. CRM integration is your forms connected to one CRM you already use. Multilingual is priced per additional language and covers the technical setup plus translation of a standard business site. Anything larger gets quoted separately before we start.
The things everyone asks.
At Cindershift a one-page Simple site is $499, a multi-page Business site is $1,999, and an E-Commerce store is $2,999. Every price is fixed in writing before work starts, with no hourly billing and no change-order fees. If your scope sits between packages, the estimator above will price it exactly.
A one-page site takes about two weeks, a multi-page business site about three, and an e-commerce store four to six weeks. The clock starts when we have your content and approvals, and we tell you at kickoff exactly which dates we need things from you.
Fair question, and we would rather answer it directly than bury it. The price is fixed in writing before work starts, and payment is split so you never pay for work you haven't seen. The founding client program exists precisely because we know we're asking early clients to go first, which is why it's discounted rather than dressed up as a favor.
That is normal, and copywriting is included on the Business and E-Commerce packages. We interview you for about an hour and write the whole site from that. For photography we either art-direct a local shoot or select licensed images that don't look like stock.
We do. Every project includes 30 days of content updates at no cost, so anything you want changed after launch just gets sent to us. After that, updates run through a care plan starting at $99 a month, which includes two hours of changes every month. You send an email, we make the change, usually the same day.
Every project includes 30 days of post-launch fixes at no cost. After that, most clients move to the $99 per month care plan, which includes two hours of edits. Larger changes are quoted upfront as fixed-price items.
That is fine and very common. To point it at the new site we need to change two or three DNS records at whoever you registered it with, such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Squarespace. There are two ways to do that, and you pick.
You can give us delegated access. Most registrars let you add a collaborator or technical contact without handing over your login, and we only need permission to edit DNS. Or we can work through it directly with you on a screen share, where you stay logged in and we tell you exactly which fields to change. It usually takes about ten minutes.
We will never ask for your registrar password or your email password. Any studio that does is doing it wrong. If you would rather not touch it at all, we can also register a fresh domain on your behalf and bill it at cost.
Fifty percent to book your slot on the calendar, fifty percent on launch day. Larger projects are split across three or four milestones. We accept card, ACH, and bank transfer, and every project runs on a signed fixed-price agreement.
Most of our work is remote. The whole process runs on video calls, a shared project board, and a live preview link you can check at any time. Time zones between UTC-8 and UTC+3 are easiest for us to cover.
Handled properly, or not collected at all.
Most agency sites bury this on a page nobody reads. Here it is on the front page, because it is part of what you are buying.
This site does not track you
No cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording, no fingerprinting. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. You can verify all of it in your browser's developer tools in about fifteen seconds.
Your project stays confidential
Everything you tell us is confidential by default, whether or not you label it and whether or not we end up working together. We do not discuss your business with other clients, use you as a competitive example, or publish your work without written permission. We will sign your NDA, usually the same day.
Access is purely functional
A project sometimes needs access to something you own: a Google account to connect Search Console, your domain registrar to point DNS, an analytics property, or a CRM. We ask for the minimum permission that does that one job, use it only for that job, and hand it back or have it revoked when the work is finished. We never ask for your password.
